This quilt came about when we wanted a project for civil war prints that had just arrived in the shop. While looking through the Electric Quilt website we came across very complex quilt designs using a 60-degree triangle. After experimenting, the Civil Degree quilt was developed! You may choose to use only floral prints in your quilt, which would then produce a Floral Degree.
Approximate finished quilt size: 155cm x 180cm (61” x 71”)
Fabric Requirements
- 2” strips x 64 different print fabrics (if cutting from fat quarters, cut 2 from each)
- 1st Border: 65cm if using a plain or allover print OR 160cm if using a stripe
- 2nd Border: 125cm if using a plain or all over print or 2mts using a toile OR one way design
- 50cm binding
- 350mts x 115cm for backing
- 170cm x 240cm wide backing

- Neutral thread for piecing
