In April 2016 my girlfriend June and I went on a trip of a lifetime with Andrew Costello on his inaugural Cows for Cambodia tour. We both fell in love with this amazing country and its beautiful people.
While there, we did some volunteer work in a village near Siem Reap. We had the best time helping to build a school, planting king grass, delivering donated bags of rice to struggling families and so many other wonderful activities that Cosi had organised. We had to raise funds to help Cosi with his Cows for Cambodia project and so I designed, created and raffled this quilt. It was a mixture of new and old fabrics from my stash and the shop, the odd sarong that I had been given and never worn, along with some leftovers scraps to make it interesting.
It is an easy quilt to whip up and I’m sure you will love creating your very own Cows for Cambodia Quilt.
