This quilt is a feast of foundation piecing, selvedges, spots, stripes, checks, yo-yo's and appliqués! Inspired by summer picnics and lazy days.
Approximate finished quilt size: 224cm squared (88” squared)
Fabric Requirements
- Assorted scraps of print fabrics to total about 7.5m
- 60cm each of three stripe or check prints for circle backgrounds
- 90cm each of two stripe or check print fabrics for circle backgrounds
- 1.7m check print for border
- 2m check print for borders 1 and 2
- 50cm mint green stripe print for vine
- 65cm stripe print for binding
- 2.5m extra-wide backing fabric
- 2.45m wadding
Required
- Fusible appliqué paper for foundation paper piecing
- Glue stick or pen
- Spray starch
- Sewing machine with ¼” foot
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- General sewing supplies
